Hi, looking to make my own side deflectors, the Yorkshire man in me baulks at paying over £90 for 4x hinges and 2x pieces of acrylic. Have searched for pictures of post 2004 cars with them fitted but cant find any that show how they attach.

There are 4 Windscreen bolts on the Pillar, can someone let me know which 2 of them are used.?

Many Thanks

I had them on my 94 plus 8 and they worked well so I kept them think they would fit my 2012 plus 4 but they don’t. The 94 windscreen frame has a square section and the mounting brackets fit easily, the 2012 frame is contoured with recessed screws so the two are incompatible.

I’d assume the actual screens and brackets would be usable but new mounting blocks would be needed.

I’ll dig them out and take a pic if that’s going to help but I’ve quite a busy few days ahead so it may be Sunday or Monday before I get the chance.

Its ok, the hinges on the older ones are unlikely to be the same distance apart as the post 2004's. Thanks anyway.
