Hello brand new to this site today, not sure whether i am using it correctly, but i am in the process of looking to purchase an Aeromax, any feed back would be greatfully welcome, i am broad shoulded so would appreciate harsh comments as well as good ones about this vehicle. Hi Dean (if it is Dean, if not, Hi DR ) and welcome to TM Enjoy your search, they are wonderful cars! As Richard (Mr_Tony) says, buy on condition not mileage. Good luck Andy PS Oh, and if you like Jaguar grey with red interiors then you are in for a treat
Cheers

I'm very envious - I'd love to be able to buy one* but I suspect the prices have now sunk as low as they're likely to go and that's still beyond my reach. *That's as well as the 4/4 sport. I see them as two totally different beasts.

ah hello, ye but i think its the dealers who are keeping the prices up, i think because people at this level need to deal with finance the dealer has the upper hand, its a shame none have come up for private sale. There is 2 x Autos out there at the moment, but iam scraching at the minute to get them to come to the right figures

I think people use dealers for convenience, to keep tyre kickers at arms length and to ensure they get paid when selling and avoid a pup when buying

Until this particular car, which had publicly documented accident damage, was put up for sale, all the cars being offered both privately and via dealers were selling for over original price. This car, which took ages to sell and ended up going overseas, has done the most to decrease the price to where it is now. Over 8 of the RHD Aeromaxs have now been sold out of th UK, leaving less than 15 in private hands (there is 1 more, making the total 16, but that is Charles Morgans car). With this in mind, I believe the prices are now quite firm unless the car is has an obvious flaw or the seller is very desperate. The one owner, well specified Aeromaxs, in a good colour are not an easy find. Despite having a natural bias toward Morgans, I cannot think of another hand built limited production car that offers as much as the Aeromax.

hello simon, what do you think is the right colour in your opinion ?
on another note, i read alot about morgan owners using Sikaflex, can i just add this is only a brand name of a PUR sealer, i hope i am not breaking any advertising rules, but SOUDAL is a Dutch Company who make many of these type sealers, try Soudal 940FC its great for bonding metal and Glass in the Automotive Refinishing Sector.

Sorry if I sounded flippant about £100k, but a Mog, whether £20k or £120k is one of lifes luxuries rather than a necessity - you don't need to put yourself in hock, but if you want one and can afford the repayments, well there is nothing wrong with that
