I’m only 5’8” but feel I am sitting a bit too high - surprised you are not seeing out above the window screen rather than through it.
Maybe later a Plus 6s have lower seating.

I'm 5'11 and although you sit a bit higher than a trad and much more than an s1 Aero I quite like looking down over the bonnet at the louvres and the big vent at the front,it also gives you a better idea of width on a country lane. Like it or lump it the four and six are a big leap forwards the price is a different matter .....Em

I am 6ft and the seating position in the 2020 Plus Six does feel like it is slightly higher than the Trad Roadster, but I sit comfortably in the Plus Six with my eyeline along the bonnet as per Aerotaff comments and looking through the lower to mid screen and get very little buffeting from above the screen .. I do like my seat raked back and have about 8 to 10cm of space behind the seat back.

Last week whilst in Wales I was parked next to a MY22 Plus Four, had a lengthy chat with the owner and was offered a 'try it' the seating position felt considerably higher and although his hood was up I had about the same space above my head, comparing both, the P4 hood slopes upward from the 'screen rail towards the back of the car much more than my Trad, so I assume this is how the factory design for the CX cars gained cabin height

I recently had the opportuniy to sit in the Ply Six of a friend. It struck me that compared to my 2009 Roadster, the seating position in the Plus Six is high (One sits 'on', i.s.o. 'in' the car). Can Plus Series chairs be lowered? Anyone did that? Bert, I think the CX Seats are similar for the PlusFour and PlusSix. I am 2.01cm tall and so asked the same the question for my PlusFour as it would improve my viewing position when driving as well as not touching the roof when it is up. I was told they couldn't be lowered. Would be very interested if they could! Anyone else actually tried that with a CX car???? I am 6ft 2" a tab under 16st (100kg) built like a wing forward, my Plus Six was the first Morgan I could drive in comfort and get in and out of without embarrassment. At 6ft 7" it says a lot about the CX model cabin that you can actually do the same, Demon Tweeks sell some excellent after market seats that could fit the bill if you want comfort over the originals. Yes I agree. I actually find the seating position quite comfortable and leg room is excellent. Shoulder room with new roof down less so, as it sticks into my side a little. Yes I basically am level with the top bar on the wind screen - mostly I look through it but periodically I end up looking over it too. I have a 13” dish MotaLita which is lovely but it also partly obscures the speed on the LCD panel too. Less of an issue if wearing polarised sunglasses as it isn’t really visible anyway Hence the interest in a lowered seat option. Would make the viewing better through the windscreen plus give me better head space if the roof is up. Either way, loving the PlusFour. I understand that many are protective of the trad experience but the CX was a total game changer for me as it meant I could a) actually get in it and b) be pretty comfortable and massively enjoy it. No regrets …

My only comment is that the pedals are too far away for my short legs (inside length 29") so I have to have the seat more forward that personally would wish and to get a decent arm length I have to recline the seat more than I would wish.

The wheel is also moving , it is maybe not in the most forward position.

Thanks for all the replies to my question: has anybody successfully lowered the seat in a Plus Series? I conlude, for now, that there are no examples yet. Would anybody, knowledgeable about the seat’s construction, be able to share if it is feasable in their opinion?

Would anybody, knowledgeable about the seat’s construction, be able to share if it is feasable in their opinion? My understanding is that the seat runners are bolted direct to the floorpan, there are no timber packers as per some Trads that could be removed, so you would have to cut out and fit a sort of stepped tray (very invasive) to sit the seat base lower than the existing floor level In a bonded chassis tub I think it would be very difficult to guarantee integrity / strength / crash safety after such an invasive modification to the floor I've seen it done on Trad chassis race cars as they often remove the ply floor and replace with alloy plate anyway

I recently sat in an MY 23. The seat cushion is thinner than on the others. We are sitting about 2 CM lower.
