Np, OZ 4/4 - Yes, it was bid to 50,500 £ (plus 6% ? buyers fee) and that was as far as the bidders would go. The reserve was lowered an hour or so before the auction end but that did not help. When the reserve is reached, a message appears saying 'Reserve met' or something similar - that never happened, so all we know is the reserve was a bit more than 50k (and I would guess a lot lot more) I wonder if it would do better at a more prestigious auction - Bonhams maybe ? But I really think they'd need to make the bonnet fit (sorry, a bit of OCD there!).

But I really think they'd need to make the bonnet fit (sorry, a bit of OCD there!). Looking at some current auctions I can't see the reserve and under FAQ is says the reserve is hidden, just curious how you know it was dropped. I agree, from the front it looks like there is a piece of electrical tape on the drivers side of the bonnet, but when you get closer it is just a bit gap and you can see the rubber seals.

There is an option, when the Auction is live to 'Watch' the auction. This means you get an email warning an hour before the auction ends, and if the reserve changes. But of course they never tell you what is dropped to, sadly: ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/06/24/Screenshot-2023-06-24-at-08.09.49.md.png)

I suspect the vendor will take a bath on this one.
