I found my dealer after I bought my car direct from the factory and whilst there is something nice about buying from the factory, I've been made so welcome at my dealers (Mike Duncan) I really wish I'd bought it from them! Still, they will at least get my business re servicing for many years to come!

Hi,

After months of negotiating I finally bought my dream Morgan from BHM a few weeks ago. It took a long time to finally get the car but this was no fault of BHM. During my discussions with them I always found them helpful and enthusiastic. When I went to collect the car its presentaion was immaculate and I had no problems in driving the 280 miles back home to North Yorkshire. The car ran perfectly and was a credit to BHM and its previous owners.
The cars now locked up safely in the garage waiting for the rain to stop. Knowing England, that will probably be about April time next year !
An excellent garage with great customer service. drive

I was after a bit of help gave BHM a phone call to find out the size of my sump plug as I wish to replace it with a 1/8th Temp Transducer that fits into a s/steel Cosworth sump plug . Keith found one gave me the details M14 x 1.5 . Then sent me the plug FOC . I sent him some Stornaway black pudding I know how much he likes it . I appreciate good service and help .

When I spend a few days in England a week before christmas I also visited BHM. Had had a few mailcontacts with Sarah and she told me I was welcome if I had time.
As you all has said the first thing that happened I was offered coffee or tea (chose coffee) and than I had a long chat with Keith who showed me the premises. We talked about his participation with his black Morgan in "The owners pride" where he seems to have been rather successful. It was a very bad weather so I did not think of drive any of their cars.
I understand why most of you are very impressed by their approach and it also seemd that those guys understand what it means to show the right attitude when meeting people and potential customers. If the potential customer do not buy today he or she shurely will consider it when it is time.
Thanks Sarah and Keith for a nice afternoon.

Mentioned BHM as a paragon of customer service in a book I wrote about small business. Signed a deal with a publisher in December for a couple of books, including that one. Hopefully they may get an enquiry or two (or end up being the free café of choice for those passing through.)

Agree totally,
Mke and Ben have done a heck of a lot of work for me and I find then absolutely excellent
One small incident in particluar

My car developed a 'limp home mode' problem coming back from the LM Classic few years ago. I tried all the usual things but couldn't cure it. We were at the roadside between LM and Alencon, so iy wasn't the idea place to try and do anything
'Phoned Mike on the mobile and he spent a good time running through fault finding with me. Eventually we were able to sort the car out enough to get home and the next day Ben collected it from my home in South Wales on the trailer and took it to the garage where it was sorted.
Great guys
G
