plus 8 with history

Looks like a car with interesting history and no pretensions to concour. Could be cheap fun in local competitions. Mind you, the wiring looks like a nightmare

A very patient person needed to take this one on and convert it to a road car.

Just removing the roll bars and side braces is going to leave some gaping holes, the bonnet has been drilled (to bleed out hot air?) so new bonnet. Removing all the fire extinguishing system, seats , re-trim and new dashboard , I would say the thick end of £10k minimum.

If you want to compete with a +8 then the Moss Box cars are much more desirable as they are eligible for Historic racing, this is an early 5 speed car so it would have to race with the more modern 3.9s in the old Class of the Aero Racing Challenge. It may be OK for sprints and hill climbs though , my knowledge of the regulations for those is somewhat scarce.

It was reduced to £17,250 on auto trader before it went up for auction..

Expect a lot could be done on the cheap to get it back to road spec with s/h parts
