I was at the factory on June 23rd and saw your Super 3 - it's hard to miss smile - looks great. Here's a link to the photos I took - I'm too lazy to go through the process of embedding them...

An interesting note - there were a number of US bound Super 3s at the factory, and almost all of them had the front fenders missing. I asked about that - if it was a part shortage? The guide said they take the front fenders off of the cars being shipped overseas so they don't get dinged up in transport.

Best of Luck

Warren, congrats. Looking forward to seeing it. Although, judging from sbarracl's photos, you should have paid a bit extra for the fenders! smile

Good luck to you all, the Super 3 is the maddest and coolest car I will ever own.

Hi Chris, that's a shame you didn't gel with the Super 3, I've just sold my 4th Lotus and have a Super 3 coming to Zurich anytime now. Love Lotus cars and I think you got the sweet spot with the 240.

Does anyone know anything about the rear axel bearing on the American super 3s that need to be replaced before delivery? Mine has been held up 2 weeks at the dealer awaiting this upgrade. It looks like the right axel bearing is integral to the disc brake caliper and may be the problem- which would also make this caliper a unique part for this vehicle.

Brain fade on the above. The bearing would have to be in the wheel hub. This could mean that it involves all of the Super 3s, not just the American ones or could be unique to my car.
