Originally MMC said 30,000 miles but in April 2022 amended their service check sheet used by the dealers to replace every 10,000 miles.

It's also good practice ot change the idler pulleys at the same time.

another reason to think MOGRAN produced CRAP, and then does not stand behind what they sold... mine still works fine, but I think sell it now, before the SHTF

Ummm the timing belt was selected by S&S and produced by Gates. I don't think it unreasonable for a manufacturer to amend an item's service interval to light of experience. The service schedule is for guidance not mandatory and includes belt inspections at each 3,000 mile service. So you can elect to keep the belt longer if you wish.

Have changed mine every 3 years regardless of milage. The old ones I keep as spares which all look in remarkably good condition.

Was not aware that any have failed but others may know of cases. The new ones developed by Phil are rather better made than the originals in terms of bearings and spacers so seem a good shout when changing the timing belt. Peace of mind and so leaving space for managing other fun things with our cars....
