Not too expensive, woven by Tibetan monks and equipped with a hem of real gold border.
That would be about four times the price of the floor mats of a Ferrari 296 GTB.
Ok, carbon fiber floor mats of a 458 costs ca. 1200 USD.

I made overmats from some nice wool carpet offcuts which were then sewn edged by a firm who makes the carpet sample books you find in flooring shops, the proper rubber heel pad had to be sewn by an upholsterer because of the machine / needle strength needed, but the end result perhaps only £20 per side ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/03/10/Footwell-mat.md.jpg)

I had coco mats make a set of custom mats for my plus 4. Way cheaper than 1200eur. You make up a paper template and send it to them... mats came back about 2 weeks later. I even used custom piping I bought from Woolies trim. https://www.cocomats.com/I've used Cocomats as well, several times, excellent people to deal with, exactly as Bourbonmog describes. I haven't had to use custom piping but have been happy with the product as supplied.

I just use a couple of "rear saloon" rubber mats, which fit perfectly.
