In my experience Morris Minors tend to be called Moggies whilst Morgans are Mogs. The term Mog is generally accepted, and used, by the Morgan community as evidenced by the number of Morgans sporting MOG plates (mine included). I don't recall seeing any Morris Minors with MOG plates.
I remember having a chat with a chap exhibiting cars at Bluewater a while back who happened to have the initials MOG and told me he couldn't get a decent plate with his initials on it as they had all been snapped up by Morgan owners.

For my 2p's worth, Mog = Moggie = Morris Minor.

Sorry to offend anyone who does not think so.Plain and simple

I call mine "bloody car" most of the time.

As for calling them mogs, who really cares.

The nickname for Unimog is Mog, too:

Try Google Pictures, Mog shows you much more Unimogs than Morgans or Morris Minors.

For me Mog is for morris minors too (or possibly cats!), I do not care for Mog when related to Morgans. After all it's not that much shorter than the full title....

Moggie = Morris Minor

Initially I found Mog annoying, but it's obviously been in use for a very long time, and you can't deselect it just because it doesn't suit.
So either grit your teeth every time it gets aired or embrace it.......... nerd
