Glad you use the rack again, no more fears. thumbs It looks you escaped the bad weather in Northern Italy, one of my colleagues was caught in those hailstorms and had both cars terrible damaged, so that they have to be repatriated! Frightening weather conditions these summer.......! frown

Noggin tonight so first trip but only about 20 miles each way.
Off to Morgans at Windermere in September again then tagging on Scotland so need to get 1k miles dealer check in before that. Looks like trips to get that target. Oh dear! What a shame! Never mind!

Yes, enjoyed a nice short run today. Just got back. Route over the Gower peninsula along the north coast then cut acrossto the south coast, on to Mumbles for a nice pasta meal at Verdi’s (plus ice cream of course but in s separate bowl). Did about 60 miles. Had to weave between cows on Fairwood common but no problems. They were just standing on one side of the road. I’m sure one winked at us in the Mog. Weather held ok so roof down.

Went to Carmarthen golf club for an Away-day with several mates. First time golf trip in the new dar. Clubs in passenger side, clothing and trolley battery behind the seats, electric trolley in its bag on the luggage rack. I put temp covers over the passenger seat/carpet. Nice drive, A,B roads and a long narrow road out from Carmarthen to the club. Not the best location for access to the club! Course was in great condition just slight dampness due to the mist. The clubhouse is good and nice food. Usual coffee and bacon roll on arrival and 2 course meal afterwards. It really is out of the way though! Misty on the way but it opened up nicely to be a good day.
Golf....I was in the average range of scoring so not disgraced. Finished on the 18th with a par so not too bad. One of “those days” playing. Plenty of banter and the drive home lifted my mood.

Another drive today. I want to get some miles on the car and take it for the first dealer check. Off to Windermere and Scotland next month so a few miles to cover up there! Get th3 check done first.
Today was to check out a cafe in Llanddowror between St Clears and Tenby. Nice snack ( sausage and egg bap). Then on to Kilgetty, down to Wiseman’s Bridge, through Amroth ( on the coast road) through Pendine ( no stop to see Babs though), stopping in Laugharne for a drink and ice cream, sat on a bench below the castle. Then home.
Only about 70 miles but an ad hoc trip. 700+ miles on the clock now.
On the way back passed Ray in his yellow Mog headed the opposite way.

I’m in purgatory since ankle surgery on 6th July!! ☹️No driving while in a cast ( despite it being left leg and car being auto) However - now in a boot and have hopes of driving in a fortnight or so — you don’t know how much you miss it until you can’t do it!!!

Enjoy yours whatever you do!
