I've been surprised by the recent positive postings on the CX models following on from the radiator/brake issues and its been very refreshing to say the least.
I had been thinking of getting a trad again, I've seen a late Plus 4 highly spec'd with air con and power steering, I was thinking of having the gearbox changed for an auto as I can't manage a manual with clutch easily since my back injury and replacing the suspension front and rear with SSL five link etc., to try a reach a decent level of comfort and ride and making it possibly for the wife to be able to drive it, Whilst not inexpensive, it would still have been finished up cheaper than an '23 model automatic CX, it increasingly feels a compromise a trad feel with half decent comfort levels and still not have the available power of the CX. I'll have to test drive one of the '23 auto Plus fours, probably a weekend hire to get a real feel for it, as I noticed the updated hood frame slightly/occasionally rubbed against me, when I sat in one at the Morgan works. Being 6'2'' has anyone else experienced this?
