Need help to restore or replace failed odometer - digital readout type (1997 Plus 8). Insurers will not renew without latest mileage reading. Any advice appreciated - 8 days to go before cover lapses!

Try blowing under the dash behind the instrument with hairdryer for few minutes. Has been known to work.
