this is the first time I have seen a leather disc around the spare wheel. I won't do the same on my roadster

I've seen it on a Brooklands roadster the rear panel wears on the back valance panel. When you removie you have a ring of score marks. I'm guessing the leather covers that.

I've seen it on a Brooklands roadster the rear panel wears on the back valance panel. When you removie you have a ring of score marks. I'm guessing the leather covers that. I thought the same. Will ask him next time I see him.

The disc is in paint, I just received the emblems of Melvin Rutter : Hi Nestor, do you by chance have the Morgan part numbers for the badges. I am going to retrofit a rear badge on our Plus Six. Ours was taken off to fit a rear luggage rack and I cant find it now. Think the car needs the rear badge.

Go to Brands Hatch Morgan they have a downloadable parts book for trads with these in them.
Those ones fit by 2 small screw holes so check first.

the references at Melvin Rutter are : - CRM126 for the front - CRM127 for the rear the front badge is arched the rear badge is flat currently the rear badge is out of stock 🙀 I therefore ordered several front (arched) including one that I flattened 🤷🏻♂️ https://mogparts.net/product/cowl-badge-2008-on
