I have three requirements, satnav/music/phone charging and air compressor. The latter is not crucial so further down the line as never needed on my Morgans (yet). I did use it on another Morgan once when we spotted a slight low pressure.
Silly design issue....why enclose the usb power socket inside the glovebox? It was the same on the Plus8 with the cigar lighter style one. The glove box had to be open for satnav power or route the cable out behind the dashboard and looped round to the Garmin satnav. I haven’t checked the PlusFour yet to see if this is possible but the cable length may be a limiting factor. The bluetooth method for music device eliminates this so ok, but, connecting, say, my mobile phone for music/power source means glovebox access. I am not keen on enclosing a Li battery powered device in the closed glovebox and putting it in a cradle in view to use music selection or the Waze satnav as a back-up to the Garmin unit is preferable. I’ll have to check the options.

I have had a magnetic connector for my CTEK installed, works very fine (in combination with a magnetic connector attached to te CTEK), and in addition a 12V socket for Tripmaster etc. So that leaves my USB socket free for the iPhone and/or satNav! it is a 2023 MY 2022 PlusFour.

Currently ( no pun intended!) I am using the C-tek crocodile clip cable to connect to the battery until I fit the other connection that fits to the battery clamps. I prefer the direct to battery connection.
For the usb I might get the sockets moved or new ones relocated. In the meantime I can use the ones installed and hook the glovebox slightly open.
Neither are major problems but just minor annoyances. I have a power pack that I can use to top up the phone or satnav should they need it.
It just seems like a lack of thought when designing the small details of the car. But then that’s what keeps it as a Morgan !
