Can anyone advise where I can get european breakdown cover for my 20 year old 4/4
My insurance has stopped cover for vehicles over 15 years old
The only alternative I have found does not include repatriation!!

RAC used to give European cover for Morgans over 10 yrs old without additional cost for members of MSCC. Worth checking if you are a member as I am not sure that still is the case.

Also Gott and Wynne insurance which I have for my 43 yr old +8 offer European cover for £22.

AA 5 Star European cover has no age limit and includes repatriation, if required.

Any time I read/hear folk discussing insurance abroad, I wonder if they have read the details of their policy...?

I am ever fully comp and with a Morgan specialist broker and I ASSUMED that my fully comp cover would be the same when abroad... After many years of continued insurance, for some reason I decided to read the details, and found that when abroad the cover reduced to the minimum cover required for the country in which you are travlling which may be next to nothing like one might ASSUME..? So perhaps worth checking..?Memories of UK minimum cost (Road Traffic Cover) being next to worthless.

As for the age question Max5, is that for the car or driver...

Just got AA 5 star cover, not many companies seem to deal with older cars. Kind of expensive!
