Thank you Richard!
Then I do not have it, since I do not have the fuses.
I there a way to add this?

Probably but not easily. You would need to check if it can can be made to fit mechanically. Note also in John V6 post the earlier ones were of different manufacture. Electrically there is just a 4 pin connector needed with power feeds direct from each fuse mentioned above, a ground connection and a dedicated feed from BCU on yellow/pink cable. I'm guessing the latter provides minimal or no assistance above a certain speed.

It may be easier to go for a bespoke installation from the Dutch company EZ electric power steering

EZ supplied the early ones & then fell out with MMC as they alledgedly copied it.
Please check it is there or not . Some owners don't like them & remove the fuses ti isolate them

My car is from June 2012 ill let you know if it is there or not...Another stupid question, I have noticed that most of the early LHD 3.7 Roadsters have their hand brake command on the right of the center tunnel, and left on the RHD.
Mine is LHD, and have it on the left...
Is it possible that this car was originally RH converted to LH?

Oliver, IIRC somewhere in the production life 2012 - 2020 ish, the gearbox changed (don't know date) this may explain different handbrake locations

This cover does not seem large enough to contain the motor as shown in Jon's picture.
To be fully certain, and instead of removing that cover, would you have a 3.7 Roadster fuse diagram so I can check if I have the related fuses Richard mentionned.

If you have the assistance motor it will be very obvious on the steering column as it's very intrusive and can catch your knee

I do not think a carpeted tunnel could conceal the PAS motor attached to the steering column, so I do not think you have it. If you should want it, the EZ system is highly recomendable, completely transforms the handling of the car and also makes it safer, in my opinion. This spring however I had an experience similar to yours - the steering being very light or very heavy with short intervals - as if my PAS were badly connected. It was not, the explanation was that my kingpins were so worn and with so much friction/stiction that the PAS simply did not cope. After changing KPs everything reverted back to normal. Most likely you do not have PAS, my my experience makes me think that your problem is related to KPs, worn out or without grease. Start with greasing, and see what happens. Good luck!

My 2012 3.7 Roadster definitely no power steering … and I prefer to embrace the driving experience once your moving you get great feed back from the car.

Somewhat agree, that's why mine's modified so it can be turned off from the drivers seat, but it's useful in tight car parks

2012 3.7 Roadster here, also no power steering. Fortunately, not to heavy to be manageable, except manoeuvring in very tight spaces on a gradient.
