Forgive me M3W owners for I have sinned….I’m afraid I’m going over to the dark side having traded my M3W in for a Caterham 360S SV today. scared

Certainly a tinge of sadness as I signed on the dotted line but those that know me are aware of my Morgan rainophobia which is largely driven by rustophobia (probably resulting from my time as a marine engineer cadet perpetually chiseling off rusty nuts). However somewhat Inexplicably I’m not too bothered about a Caterham in the rain.

I gave the Super3 some thought but couldn’t sit my 6’4” frame comfortably in it.

I’ll miss the devilishly classic good looks of the Brooklands M3W but hopefully get more road use from my new steed and if I’m not cast out into the wilderness I’ll keep an interested eye on this amazing forum. cheers

A cat' is great, but very sporty flag
If you do trackday weekends, it's perfect, but less good for cruising
This is my opinion, because I have long thought about buying a cat', but I definitely prefer a Morgan... innocent

Depends on spec. I had a 1.8K 20yrs ago replacing a 1.7SS and toured Scotland in it smile Certainly no worse than an M3W - indeed better 2-up as you had a hood for the rain and a "boot"! Got rid of it only when the family size increased 50%...
