My driver side stay/bracket has come out of the door completely! Back to the good old days of bruised ankles!!!

I open the door of my 4/4 from the inside, swing it open and during this time I put my left foot on the road (LHD) and stop with my knee against the door swinging back. Then the rest is playfully easy and comfortable. Never had a soiled pants. Everything else is pure luxury and not necessary for me.
