My back windows have just blown out again ( 2nd time) My dealer is picking the car up and taking it to the factory. He is suggesting the way forward now is to bolt them. Has anyone got a photo of what these bolts will look like. Colour, and size?

David, there is a photo in the Gallery of them.
I have them on my car and to be honest, they give me total confidence.
Not only will you get new brackets but also new windows (with the holes pre-drilled).
The bolts, as you mention, are black and have polished black covers on the top. They quite discrete.
I'll try to dig out the photo for you.

Cheers Simon. I had a feeling that they'd look ok. And the confidence of them being truly fixed will be a great help. Once again thanks and I look forward to the pic if you can find it.
By the way. Are we the only uk "one owner" max owners left? :-)

Great. They're not too obtrusive at all. In fact, they look quite rugged

it all ready has bolts in the back window Dean, they will probably just fit a new surround as the current one has bubbled. HTH.

parking "on the other side" of the entrance
imho the bolt-fix is less obvious in real life compared to the pictures
but off cours uglier than only the glue which is NO option if you like driving your A'max
