Hi Folks
My 2001 4/4 1.8 Zetec won't start. Just wondering where the fuel pump relay is located?
Thanks
Gordon

Hi Darkstar, on my 2002 4/4 under the bonnet on top of the scuttle is an aluminium box with a flip up lid. Left to right is flasher unit, fuel pump, fuel injection and cooling fan. The last 3 are 30-85-86-87-87a. Regards.

These 3 were Bosch 0 332 014 112 but may have been superseded by 0986AH0602.

Sorry but those first numbers quoted just refer to generic DC relay pin numbers. If a replacement is required look for 12 volt five pin 40 amp diode protection changeover mini relay.

Avoid the cheapest chinese ones, Durite is a good brand as below.

Many Thanks,
Flasher is Black Ford, the rest are silver Bosch 0332014112. I swapped the fuel pump relay and the cooling fan one to see if it started, it didn't.

Any suggestions, I haven't run it for a couple of months, spinning fine.
Regards

Make sure your fuel pump cut off switch hasn't activated.

Has it been stored on a battery conditioner ? If it's stood for a couple of months and the voltage whilst cranking is low the ECU will often detect this, so it won't 'fire' but will spin over on the starter

It will be on the bulkhead normally on the passenger side above the wiper motor. Press down on the rubber grommet
