Well the news broke today that the singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett has passed away.. His music may not be for everyone, but while working in the Gulf of Mexico in the 70's and the 80's I thought his music totally fitted the area and lifestyle.. I became a life long fan of Jimmy from those days, so it is sad news indeed. RIP Jimmy, I still play your albums.

Agreed. His music was the soundtrack to my life when I moved to Houston in 1997. I was fortunate enough to see him in concert twice. His music and passion for life will live on.
