Hello Morgan Enthusiasts,
I'm in the process of changing the disc brakes on my 2012 Morgan Plus 8, and I'm seeking the torque specifications for the discs and brake calipers.
Despite reaching out to the Morgan factory aftersales, I was informed they no longer have this information on hand.
My call was then redirected to their workshop, but unfortunately, the connection was lost.
I would deeply appreciate it if anyone in this community could assist me with these specifications or point me in the right direction.

I doubt you will find much technical info published for newer cars, such as yours, by the manufacturer for the home mechanic. You are left therefore with generic torque setting for various grades and sizes of bolt plus their threads. To further complicate, different settings are published for bare metal fixings with protective coating, dry plated bolts and each of those with anti-seize coatings (grease). Some generic torque settings here, noting the torque reduction for lubricated bolt link.

I actually also asked 2 Morgan garages.
They did not know either.
They use general torque setting for various grades and sizes of bolt plus their threads

For anyone who might require this information:
It's 110 NM for brake calipers.
From multiple Morgan shops, I frequently received the advice to tighten "with care/feeling."
However, following such subjective guidance can result in damaged parts.
This approach was even applied to my car at a Morgan factory "with feeling."
The consequence of this was evident today in the form of a nearly stripped thread.
