Got caught out by this shower, luckily with the roof in place.

I had to slow down to 10 mph, partly to be able to see, and partly to stop torrents of water forcing its way between the windscreen and the roof. I think I need to find a better way to seal the standard popper closure over the screen.

Do you have the old style hood with studs across the windscreen?

If so make sure that the "bolster" is inside the screen when putting it up , if you don't water will indeed pour through over the header rail. If you have the later "EasyUp" hood then there is probably something which is not aligned properly.

Morgans will never be totally leak-proof BUT they can certainly be made a lot better than having streams down the inside of the screen , even in the heaviest of rain.

...as mentioned above, make sure the bolster/roll is tucked inside. I have the 9 stud roof and thankfully, not much at all comes in at all!

I had a similar leak with the 9 stud roof. Bolster stopped most but some still got through. I addd some thin self adhesive neoprene strip to get a better seal. I think I bought it from Woolies.

Thank you, everyone.

I do indeed have a 9 stud roof, and know how to tuck the bolster. It's usually ok, but, as you saw, this was some exceptional rain.

I think the extra sealing strip is the way to go, and have ordered some online. :-)
