I am another happy owner of an S3 2010 Roadster Sport. There has never been an issue with rev hang but I did have a period where the engine would run a bit fast until I stopped and it would then idle as normal. That seems to have stopped. I too recommend a Mulfab modified sump and a sump guard. The only other changes that I have made, are brake reaction bars, panhard rod ,aluminium radiator and a roll over bar. When I bought mine from BHM it was suggested that moving the air intake to a position above the radiator would again about 12 bhp. Mine will trundle along at 30kph in fifth and pull away from that too. I have had a new GDI which I liked enormously but am very happy to have kept the Roadster. I had a lovely three hour night time drive this week, roof off, heated jacket on. Perfect.

Good tip. Thanks Richard. I will investigate that. Your 2020 will have been built with that as standard, you don't gain a lot as the recess mainly helps house the bulky throttle fly by wire rheostat, the really early 3.7's had the widest footwell because the trans tunnel was narrower
