Hey 👋 i have a 1976 plus 8 and no heat is coming out of the heater?
The fan is working (a bit squeaky) but no heat even when the car is really hot ….
I have pushed the leaver that changes from cool th heat but no difference?
Any ideas ?

Likely an air lock in the pipework somewhere

Have you checked the thermostat ? by pass the heater valve with a bit of hose.

We bought a second hand Renault 5 in the late 70s. I had to flush the heater box with a garden hose. It was full of muck. Just thought.
