Unfortunately got lost today on way to the petrol station…14 mile journey turned into 60 miles around Rutland Water and then long route home past Grimsthorpe Castle and past the stretch of railway line at Essendine where the Mallard got the speed record…top down, playlist at suitable volume and singing at top of my voice (inc Beatles, Japan, Numan, Depeche Mode and Kate Bush amongst others) for every mile that I pootled along, roof down …many smiles and waves from those fortunate enough to be passed by me (ahem 😇).
Days likes this, with the sun out, remind me how good life can be in a mog called Grandi P.
I is a v lucky chap even despite a recent dose of Italian Covid….

Short drive today to fuel up in between showers, the 8 speed box is not quite sure which gear it needs to be in but we did pass a jogger in the 20 mph zone. Took a run up at him we chatted for a while then left him for dead I was doing at least 8 mph more than him. Em
