Having recently bought a 1993 Plus 8 it appears that some of my switches on the dash are not working. I am trying to find out what the switches are supposed to activate. From left to right the five switches are as follows:

Switch 1 - two position (on/off) it does not appear to be connected to anything. Any idea what this is for?
Switch 2 - two position (on/off) it appears to be connected to the fog lamps. When it worked the orange light came on when the lamps turned on. Currently the lamps or orange light are not coming on.
Switch 3 - O - off, S- sidelights, H- headlights. All work fine. The lever moves forward one more position, but this does not seem to activate anything.
Switch 4 - 2 position (on/off), yellow light comes on, but I don't see anything activated. Any idea what this is for?
Switch 5 - 3 position (off, low, high) activates the blower. Works fine.

Thanks for your help in decoding these.
David

The GoMog wiring diagram here suggests Fog, Spot, Hazard, Heater blower, and Light switches, left to right. Yours seem to be in a different order David. Some clues may be found on colour codes of wires attached when compared with wiring diagram.

Assuming MMC used standard wiring colours during vehicle construction... grin2

Perhaps surprisingly I haven't found them deviate from wiring colour convention much at all Graham especially with older models. Of course the juries out if user mods/additions have been made.

Regarding switch positions found this image of 1994 Plus 8 showing I think, Spot, Blower, Hazard, Rear fog and Main light switch locations left to right.
