As Max Boyce would say.....'I was there"

By far the best match I have been to.

Eddie said the Australian team had been in training and would win. The reality was they played like they had just met in the car park 5 mins before kick off and decided to play as individuals.

Can't imagine the Japanese showing much interest in Eddie after this shambles

Well done Wales, it was a sorry sight watching the Aussies though wandering around the pitch as if lost waiting for a bus..

Scotland Ireland and England are looking strong too, Ireland and Wales particularly so, we have seen some good games so far.

That first Kiwi try was pure magic.. This is shaping up for a good game against Italy.

The Springboks v Tonga match was a good one, the sheer physicality of it was out there.

Just settling down with a tinny for the France v Italy, should be a good one.. Or maybe not, it's like the Bristol Bears v Exeter Chiefs match a walkover so far I don't think I'll make it to half time..

That's me gone now 31 - 0 at half time doh

Well the French are looking like World Champions already, masterful game albeit against weak opposition.
Even with Dupont in the stands they were awesome.

Well that's 4 out of 4 for England - I hope Samoa enjoyed their practise match, England just scraped it home.

Ireland v Scotland is going to be interesting and on current form I will give Ireland to win by 10 points.

26 - Nil at half time, this Ireland team are very impressive.

At least Scotland scored two trys, other than that it was a one sided game

My Irish born brother in law who has lived in NZ for over 30 years has just got his NZ citizenship, and in a dilemma on the up coming quarterfinal between Ireland and NZ, A life long rugby player and Ireland supporter, who loves the way the AB's play their rugby and gets to see as many of their games as he can. To resolve his which team to support dilemma, he has had all AB and Irish shirts split in two and then each different half sewn together so he has two mixed AB/Ireland shirts for him to wear for the game....just as he thought he had solved the problem, he now has to choose which of the two shirts and therefore which shirt half will be worn over his heart the AB or Ireland half, just as he thought he had solved one problem he's created another..............as much as he hopes Ireland will make it past the quarters for the first time in their history, he wants NZ to equal the South Africa's number of world cup titles. I was slightly more philosophical, I said no matter what the outcome of that quarter final matchup, his team would win.
