Trip over to Shuttleworth for breakfast. Absolutely freezing and driving into the really low sun was rather tricky. I had to rely of Jedi Mind Skills for some of the corners. I too braved the cold, (we had a grass frost here overnight) fired up the old Mog and headed out to my local favourite road with quite a few twists and turns and some great views, add the occasional induced pop and bang from the V8 and what`s more to want...(-: On second thoughts, as TBM mentioned above I had to be very careful when the sun did it`s best to catch me out, very dangerous at this time of year in the early morning. I saw one car well off the road on a notorious adverse camber bend where the low sun was beaming right at the apex, OUCH..!

Yes, out today.
Testdrive LH rearwheel and gearknob. Both fixed.
And lucky to have some hours out. A sunny afternoon in Rheinhessen with about 50KM. Enjoy every minute.
If you struggle what to do? Put the key and start the engine.

Test drive to check out the front end re-alignment after smacking a deep pothole a few weeks back, 'round the block' turned into 18 miles as the weather was dry and Derbyshire looked inviting

Went to get 2 new rear tyres fitted to Belle. I've owned the car 3 year and 1 month and it came with new tyres as the old avons failed the MOT.
The guys in Felxstowe were great & even inflated the tyres to the right pressure. The old rears lasted 27,250 miles so I can't complain.

Did a short run over the Orwell bridge with Hawki to the Suffolk food hall for a coffee outside in the sunshine before the rain returns. Great fun.

The annual pilgrimage to Cranfield to see those fine folks at Allon White for service, MOT and brake fluid change. And whilst it was on the ramp, they popped a new battery in - the old one seemed OK but in excess of 9 years is a good innings.
154 mile round trip - horrible wet M1 drive down. Hood down return journey until 5 miles from home. And I managed a pleasant few hours ambling round the Shuttleworth Collection.
A good day.
