I live in a warm country and I use my Morgan 4,1600 Ford Kent engine regularly. When I go for a drive and then stop for some time it takes several attempts to start the engine again. Battery and starter are fine and even all settings. My friend who owns a similar model but with a different engine experience the same symptoms. Sometimes it takes 4attempts to start and then it is ok. I read about vapor lock and if it is the case is there any trick to avoid this situation. It is quite embarrassing especially when you have people admiring the beautiful lines of the car, but then hard to start the engine

This is posted on the wrong page. CX-Generation Morgan's have BMW engines.

As Derek596 says, wrong section (like the 2 sets of queries in the "Welcome" section).

MOR404 it sounds like heat soak into the carburettor, causing fuel vaporisation. You might get more answers in the pre-CX cars section or the Maintenance and Servicing section.
