Did just over 100 miles yesterday.
Home, Ammanford, Brynamman, A4069 to Llangadog, Talley , Lampeter, Carmarthen, Home.
Great weather and enjoyed the drive.
Speed limits.....
Ammanford to Llangadog involved extended 20 zone. Garnant and Brynamman are long, narrow villages stretching along the roads so long 20 zones. That’s an issue in a lot of rural villages along valleys in Wales. Then the A4069 Black Mountain road is a 40 average speed now. It was a great driving road with stunning views, used by TV progs like Top Gear etc..A very popular drive in the past but over enthusiastic driving led to speed restrictions after a couple of accidents/fatalities. The rest of the route was ok with only a couple of extended 20 zones. However, there were a few areas where the limit was confusing. Signage unclear, even a mix of 30/20 in the same place. A poirly thought out and implemented change.
Car went well and I tried out the paddle shift option a few times. A handy tool for some road sections. Next will be Sport/S+. I’ve got some routes in mind. There are many good routes relatively traffic friendly and nice to navigate. Any joy there once was in driving beautiful cars is being eroded by an attack on the motorist, Wales today England tomorrow.

And a successful stress test for the optimized luggage rack 😉🍀…
I will get mine next week… Stress test passed. Three thousand kilometers without any problems. The suitcase had 23 kg. What the sidescreens weigh I do not know and they were mostly also on the luggage rack ... I should weigh on occasion times. Hi Clemens, good to hear that the updated rack passed the stress test  ! The sidescreens and their bag have a weight of 9,9 kg (I put mine on a scale  )... Since last week I have mine Plus Four finally back with a new and stronger luggage rack

The painted wires thru' me, I see the roof is colour matching as well, do you have a photo roof up?

I'm curious as to how good you find the cibie driving lights -- Do you use them much? - do they throw a good lightfurther than the headlights? - I would welcome your comments
