Thankfully the LE60 was in the dry as it was quite a handful, but very damp for the 205. That 205 really took me back. I had a lovely Miami blue 1.9 many years ago and am quite tempted by their recreation. And by restomod standards seems like good value.

Another picture of with the roof up taken at Coughton Court near Alcester. A NT property well worth a visit BTW. Lots of Gunpowder Plot history. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/10/21/IMG_0364.jpeg)

Hi Robbie,
These Marchants get everywhere don't they. No relation as far as I know at least certainly not close. I'm sure he's an absolutely delightful chap though..............
On that note sadly Joe Marchant isn't related either or else I might have stood a chance of some tickets for the RWC. Ha Ha.
Sorry to see your boys out and I think we will be following you tonight.
Best wishes,
John

We had a lovely run out to St David's this morning we met Mike in his Stealthy looking plus6 in Grey metallic coming the other way in Carew big waves, first time we really tried the heated seats and I must say toasty is an under statement. Em

On a freezing foggy morning today at the Taffmog Christmas at Llandrindod Wells weekend 4 of us went North to Aberdyfi. Went via Rhayader, Llangurig then up past the Clywedog reservoir in the hills to Aberdifi. The new Dyfi Bridge is coming along nicely and should be open for next summer. The weather up there was fine but fairly cool. Stunning views from the hilltops due to the crip clear air. Return was via Tywyn then down towards Aberystwyth. No planes using the Mach Loop as it’s Saturday. A44 back to Rhayader then Llandrindod. It had stayed foggy and icy there all day but some spectacular frost covered trees on the route. Roads conditions were good. Weather is due to get rainy tomorrow so route for the next drive will be decided in the morning.

Short run yesterday to Oxwich. About 45 minutes across Gower. Used the hotel carpark (it’s free) and had coffee/cake there. It’s a regular stop for walks on the beach/across the headland and snack outside in the garden if weather permits. Weather was good so an opportunity for roof down. Hence why I don’r SORN. Gower is great for these short runs and good pubs/cafes/walks. It can get busy in summer in some places but several options to avoid this.

I had another great run from London to Amsterdam this week. Monday early start from Richmond to the Eurotunnel and in Amsterdam for lunch. Very lucky with the weather, dry the whole way.
Then back home yesterday, left Amsterdam at 1pm and again a great run through, clear skies and 14°, so roof down for much of the way. Took the toll road to avoid the horrendous Antwerp ring road, it’s also a much more scenic route. On the Eurotunnel at 7pm.
The Six was absolutely flawless both ways. And it achieved a remarkable 43MPG Not sure how that’s possible while having so much fun, but I’ll take it. Now I’ve got everything set up, it’s so capable for a long road trip. Suction iPhone mount on the dash with a USB charger. AirPods for a bit of relief from the noise & I can now fit in a surprising amount of luggage behind the seats with the right bags. And that’s without using the rack.
Happy motoring. Ollie.

Short fuel top-up trip ready for the St David’s Day run to St Davids with a few Taffmoggers on Friday. I needed the garage empty to do a job in there so took the opportunity. Who knows.....weather permitting I might need another fuel top-p before then!
