Quick 20 mile round trip to book MOT, yes I could have booked by phone but not as much fun. Car really appreciated the cold air.

65 mile round trip for GEG lunch. Four Mogs which given the dull, cold but thankfully dry weather was not bad going for this time of the year. The Victoria in Earl Soham won our favour again with excellent food and beer served in this quirky but welcoming pub. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/UUo0xaS.jpg)

Finally a dry day coinciding with a free afternoon. A quick 60 mile blast (well not always) around my usual roads followed by a light wash and polish.
Should have stopped for a cuppa at the ponderosa but it looked closed again so I blazed straight past.

Pity I was working. Great place for pie, mash and beer 🍺 And I was elsewhere. Glad you had fun. It is a real old pub. No TV etc

Amazing the difference cold dense air makes Keith especially if you have cold air intake mods. In a piston engined aircraft you get double the effect as wings have something firmer to bite on as well, allowing noticeably shorter take off.

True, I can remember a particularly hairy take off from Ipswich one hot summer day. Hated those trees at the end of the runway.
