SWMBO & I spent 2 weeks there sans Belle who was safe at home in her garage on the battery conditioner.
30c highs & sunshine everyday on our break. A week on the beach & snorkelling in the Red Sea at Hurghada & a 1 week Nile cruise Luxor to Aswan & back.

Whilst traffic is not as bad as India the Egyptian love of speed bumps would make Mog driving very painful.

Full of a bad dose of manflu at the moment, so not concentrating as much as I should. Got home last night and left the heated rear window on the MG. Dead as a dodo this morning. Fuse may have gone, or battery drained. Will have to have a look this evening.

So, trusty Morgan dragged into commuting service this morning. Very glad of the heated seats and uprated heater!

Well no, we did thoroughly enjoy this last night though and if any of you lurking in the Exeter environs they appear fairly regularly and they are the business.

I have indeed, first drive in a month. A dry day with no salt is a rare thing indeed!

No, but yesterday we went down to spend the day with our son and his wife and went for our pre Christmas lunch here at Mawgan Porth which is their local, as they are year round surfers and swimmers and this is just down the road from their place it's perfect. The food is always excellent and the beer is well kept and would recommend it to anyone. The view from the dining room is stunning and they also do B & B which I imagine would be very good.
A great day out with the youngsters.

The kids are coming home for xmas this pm on.
So I escaped to get a breath of fresh air before the onslaught.
A fun drive with lots of unecessary engine reving to hear the music of a 3.7l on full chat. The memory will bolster my soul in the days to come.

The stormy weather providing some drama looking south towards Walton on the Naze whereas north across the Deben towards Bawdsety Manor & Orford Ness it was clear blue sky.
As it is westerly gale the sea was calm.
