Here you go britmog. I asked ChatGPT again to compose a poem about the Morgan three wheeler. Totally different.
In a world of roads and whispers of speed, The Morgan Three Wheeler takes its lead. A triad of wheels, an engine's song, Roaming the streets where memories throng.
With vintage charm and timeless grace, Leather-clad seats, a snug embrace. A single wheel in the rear, it spins, Through twists and turns, the journey begins.
The wind in your hair, a spirited ride, Nostalgia and modernity side by side. Three wheels dance, a ballet on asphalt, A symphony of echoes, a performance exalt.
Handcrafted beauty, a classic reborn, In the Morgan Three Wheeler, legends are sworn. Through time it cruises, a rolling tale, A timeless journey, a vintage sail.

Me: Why are so many people intrigued when they see the front of the Morgan three wheeler?
ChatGPT: The Morgan Three Wheeler's front captivates with a design that echoes a bygone era. Its exposed engine, prominent grille, and distinctive headlights evoke a sense of nostalgia, harking back to the golden age of motoring. The unique configuration, with two wheels up front, adds to the intrigue, challenging conventional expectations. It's a blend of classic aesthetics and automotive innovation that sparks fascination and admiration among onlookers, drawing them into the allure of a bygone charm reimagined on modern roads.
Me: Pretty darn good answer.

anyway..... IMHO (OK I am not humble, but I am opinionated) the poem is vapid... AI ONLY reflects the biases of what is popular on the internet
but if what you want is the consensus of the most idiots that post..... go for it.... that clearly is "expertise"

Totally confused by this post.
The second poem was generated because britmog requested it.
Although these poems may not be as eloquent as Robert Frost, they are still impressive for something that is generated by software and entertaining.
We are witnessing a generational revolution of technology that is just beginning. This will change our lives going forward and I am very cognizant of that.

Rodger
You definitely have a lot of opinion here but seem to be lacking real information on this subject. The digital content utilized by these so called AI generative large language models can be controlled and/or constrained by both the user and the programmer to suit specific applications and thus currently offer value in a number of industries. If you ever use internet search, or GPS, or even read a printed newspaper, you are benefiting from AI tech.
The free version of ChatGPT as used here is more a simple entertainment/education tool. Deriding it, and implying that we who are playfully test driving it are seeking the "consensus of... idiots" by using it, really is uncalled for.

My wife spent years in the computer industry for years and was part of the cutting edge AI work at the CSDP at Washington University in the 80's, but let us agree to dissagree

Thank you for asking ChatGPT the same question again, the response being completely different would indicate that the AI element does create content independently or it would have just regurgitated what had already been written. Taking the response to your posting the second poem I am sorry I asked but then I am just an idiot.
