I do drive Belle there but not with salty damp roads. Is that patina? Looks like rust to me. Didn't take the owner long to "patinate" it. Here it is two years ago, advertised as having " spent 60 years in America away from salty roads meaning most of its parts are original ! As all the other chrome at the front still looks in perfect condition, I imagine the grill has been 'distressed' for effect.

I imagine the grill has been 'distressed' for effect. But why ? Perhaps it is a temporary replacement while the original is being repaired / re-chromed after a pheasant attack ?

Or maybe it is a cheap Indian copy. It is very odd as the rest of the chrome was in superb nick
