Agreed Doug. A near right angle bend in those brackets would have sorted it as well.

I also had some problems with this horns on my CX500 w. sidecar.
At least I had ice and snow in the horn on a trip through the norwegian mountains.
No horns in the last days of Januar could be a problem in Norway.
So, I took a fire lighter, have bend the brackets and after the water came out everything was okF.
From then on we all used this form of brackets ..
