Gun Gum is another product I haven't heard of for a while. We would use it to patch up car and motorbike exhausts. Amazed it's still available.

Back in the early days, IIRC the parts place I worked for used to sell a sort of impregnated bandage and flat tins of paste, it was popular as in those days diy bodging of crap quality mild steel exhaust systems was a regular weekend job...like plug's, points 'n condenser (I used to know all the popular Champion & Intermotor parts numbers from memory) now I can't remember why I went upstairs doh
