Hi all, I have a 2008 series 4 Aero 8, I have a few electrical issues. The hazards, boot release switches are not working, the sterling pump motor continues to run after the car is switched off. My guess is the body control unit... I am being told they are no longer available, any ideas? Thanks Julian

Sorry can't be of much help but I believe the body control unit is a Volvo item and should have a part number on it. Your existing one probably just doesn't 'talk' to the main ECU, hopefully your dealer can sort otherwise your contact at MMC is Ian Weaver, their electrical guru, and is literally a 2 minute job with his laptop. Good luck!

Welcome to TM Julian. It doesn't have too much in depth electrical info other than general CANBUS topology etc. (at end of book) but worth downloading this parts book here if you haven't a copy already. Another MMC parts book more specific to your model here although no general electrical systems info.
