A light dusting of snow to cool things down after a weekend of trialling in the MCC Exeter trial.

Sadly just one of the final time control for me- my dash cam failed to record.



There were 11 Morgan entries from multiple decades in Class R Classic Road Trial, making up a large part of the 26 total entries.
Here's some of us at the sign off finish.

Weather was very benign, and all the Morgans made it through, although there were two non starters due to illness. It was a thoroughly enjoyable event; I was ably assisted by my navigator Jane Peck- fellow SpeedMog contestant and MSCC SportsMog coordinator.

Oh yes, first ride of the year.
It's been a tradition for years, when I'm home and the weather permits; First ride on New Year's Day.
But the weather has decided otherwise.
After weeks of rain, sins Tuesday cold but blue skies and bright sunshine.
And then it hurts when you're sick that first beautiful day and can't go outside. ( throat infection)
But today I'm a lot better and nothing can stop me.



To Zolder but there was nothing to do.

There is ice of three days, but too rough and too risky.

After 75 Km back home and feel reborn.
No doctor can do that.
The magic of Morgan.

Nice little run down to Caff & Mac in Ampthill for breakfast, then on to Woburn through the deerpark, through Aspley Woods, skirt the edge of MK and home via Cranfield and Lavendon. Lovely dry sunny morning, which unfortunately brought all the MAMIL funsponges out. Thankfully all the enormous pelotons were coming towards me, so only had a few singles and pairs to momentarily spoil the drive.

I couldn't resist 8 Cm of snow.
Just around the block, the main roads too much salt.

Christmas & the wet January meant I had only done just over 100 miles in Belle since filling up just before Christmas. Today it was wonderfull to do 60 or so on a GEG run.
Belle had benefited from some waxing etc whilst in the garage.


Hawki is awaiting his new Plus Four so came on his scooter which is an agile beast on the twisties.



Mr Dunningham came in his 97 +8 (famously sold & repurchased) which was very shiny.


The Cockhorse Inn at Lavenham did us proud & the Mog driving itch was scratched. Perfect.

But for this I would have been in Morton instead of Mini.

A run to KH following Hawki on his scooter. Cold but sunny and dry.

The blue Dodge Ram had a 52k price tag till I saw that was before VAT.
Plenty of new cars bought by TM members on show plus 2 that were traded in.
