Riding on a sunny day through the high Andes is quite an experience. I shared that last week with one of adult sons. He had hard time keeping up on my now kept-for-visitors scooter.

An unusual visit for me seeing my old car (the gold one) in the same showroom as the new one (dark maroon). The new one is due to be delivered late February. I was surprised how many changes Krazey horse made to the gold one. It’s looking great following their preparation.

It’s great to get out on the scooter. After so many freezing or wet days. It feels like spring is around the corner.

Yep. Morgan weather is back

Wish I'd joined you John but was fitting the final hub and adjusting new bearings. First side was text book but some difficulty with second.

Was this a Caterham on DCOE's John?



With luck a test drive in Morton today following new kingpins and wheel bearings.

Yes a Caterham Super Seven with classic chassis. A true thing of beauty.

Looking at their website it is a 1600cc car with 1600 miles for 43k and new 2l version in the fat boy chassis is 53k. So 30k below a Plus Four

Nice and sunny, not warm but all the salt gone by the rain of the past days.
Ideal for a short ride, before a dinner with old youth friends.


The new bridge over the Albert canal in our village.
The monument is a piece of the old bridge that dates from after the second war.
The original one had been blown up by the resistance.

First drive of the year due to kingpin and wheel bearing replacement. What a treat in the sunshine.



35 mile round trip to test and fill up. Left shocks off as was intrigued to see how the car drove. Also thought it would give new kingpins and bushes a little more exercise. Not a huge difference although the SSL RS setup not fully re-adjusted yet and everything probably needs to settle in. Anyway shocks back on now although have softened settings a little until everything loosens up.
