Strange, I just used a standard youtube video link:

The old workaround of removing the "s" from https doesn't apply (or even work) since the forum upgrade last year. You no longer need to use the "embed" feature, just paste the full URL (including https) and the new forum software automatically does the embedding:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XYypbINg3o VIDEO
