Well, the car is off to Williams for a service in about 10 days but this morning i spotted a coolant leak.
Just 3 or 4 drops under the car in the garage (orange liquid), but also some dry residue on the "chin" below the air intake.
So i'm guessing i've got a pinhole in the radiator.

Searching here i found a thread suggesting that the radiator is a BMW 740 item - a google for E38 740 radiators pulls up rads which do look like the one from the Aero S1 parts diagrams.

Anyone able to confirm if that's the case?

I'm not suggesting it as a permanent fix, but if you're driving to Williams and want a temp cure, drop in some K Seal (I keep a bottle in every car we own)

I had a similar leak about a year ago, it was one of the plastic side tanks on the Rad. If you only have a slight seep, I would just make sure you have plenty of water to replace any leakage, but I would be reluctant to put any sealant in the system. On my S4 it was a pricey job as the wings and cowl had to come off for access. Also hope a replacement Rad is readily available. Best of luck.
