The weld will show through on anodising. It may or may not look cool. You need a scrap frame to test on. Have KH had any anodised?

I spoke with Dan today. The process he went through was:
Remove the Perspex
Remove the metal surround
Remove the felt inside the surround
Acid dip the frame to remove the remaining sealant used to secure the felt
Spray the frames in a paint shop
Rebuild as above.

I got my Plus Four from Dan at Krazy Horse and it has body colour sidescreens and wires. I'm not sure if they are paint or powder coat. I asked Dan to have a bunch of balancing weights paint/coated also so when they rebalanced the wheels these were used and you can't see them. The car also has the mesh behind both the lower valance and the grill powder coated in brass look-alike along with the spare wheel fitting this being Dan's idea so I can't claim the credit for that. He is a very creative chap when it comes to speccing cars.

JJR, I agree Dan has a real talent at specking cars and love the non standard touches he suggests.I also love you idea of getting the weights coated. Genius.
