So folks, a cheeky question. Having bought some clips for sunvisors, and now knowing the bolt sizes (thanks folks), I am going to make the actual visors.
Would somebody be able to tell me the size of the standard visors for a starting point for me please?

I shall be laser cutting mine in 3mm acrylic (dark smoked) to start with to see how I get on with them.

Quite an old post, but I was wondering where Nickplus4 bought his sunvisor clips from? Having trolled through Bay and found nothing as yet.

IMHO sun visors on a trad are a waste of time unless the hood is up (and who does that if the sun is shinning), The sun is always higher than the visor, a long peaked ball cap is more effective and cheaper.

They work well turned up to be above the screen. Also they are excellent at trapping rain in top down driving in the the rain& depositing said rain in onto the driver or passenger.

I bought these way back. I think they were £30, so the brackets came out at £7.50 each. I dumped the red perspex and had my own made up in grey perspex.

Now £50, and only really work with perspex.
