Has anyone replaced their Plus Four/Six LED indicators from amber to clear lens?, just wondered if its possible to change the lens or is it the whole unit that has to be replaced.. The lens have no external securing screws so I assume either the lens unscrew or the complete assembly has to be replaced. If the complete unit has to be replaced the securing screws for these at the rear must be under the rear plastic wing liner.. which complicates fitting a tad.

I believe they are one piece incorporating the led’s they clip in and are a bit tricky to remove apparently. Needless to say they are very expensive.

Yes i have made a scratch on the rear wing . If i want to repaint the wing the indicator lens has to be broken.

Re the scratch.....have a look at a smart repair. They just repaint the prepared scratch not the whole panel. Basically flat the area then spray. Using a small spraygun/airbrush. They have colour matching and mixing equipment and can leave you a small bottle of paint for touch-ups.Here in the UK Chipsaway is one company. I nearly took out a franchise years ago. Went to their base for a demo and was seriously impressed.
My dad was a coachbuilder and I did lots of work with him so my (limited) knowledge helped assess the quality.
Similar for dents. If the paint is intact they tease the dent out so no repaint.
I’ve done some smart repairs myself. Airbrush, dent teasing and wet sanding prior to polishing. I got a pro in to remove a dent in a previous Morgan. Took him 20 minutes and perfect.
The light lens.... my car has the high level brake light ( Cobra type). No lens screws nor unscrew option. Looks like a tight clip in fit. Never had to remove that type in the past so hopefully no bulb replacement needed !

Yes i could do it myself , i have already the matched color and i am able to use two k varnish with an airbrush .But the scratch is on the top and if i miss something it will be worse. The stupid thing is that i made the scratch when i washed the car .
