my tintop came with heated seats which i thought was a bit of a luxury but now i love them and would like them in the morgan. Have been looking at heated seat covers seem quite reasonable price any one else got them

Yes they are standard on Brooklands . Allon White also retrofit them.
I was out in Hawkis new plusfour today and the heated seats were a help

I had them fitted to my 4/4 when I had the retrim. Cost about £40 from ebay.
If you can find a local car trimmer I'm sure it wouldn't cost a fortune to have them inserted into your current seats and wiring is straight forward.

Relatively easy to diy, I did mine when I had to restring the bases. About £40 for a pair of seats for the heater elements. You'll just have to decide where to put the switches. An aluminium plinth beneath the heater/radio console seems adequate.

Just a word of caution when having them fitted. I had mine fitted but the element was placed just behind the leather which made it borderline dangerous to have on the high setting. I had them redone and the a protective layer was put in-between which should have been done from the start.

This can be very easy to do or very difficult, depends on the year of the car/seat. On my mid 90s car it was very straightforward and took about a hour per seat. On my later car it’s nest to impossible due to the sculptured stitching limiting the access of the heating panels. Some suggest the panels can be cut to suit others suggest not.
What year car are you fitting them to?
2012 Plus 4 in Sport Green. Much comfier than the Plus 8!

but the real luxury in an open car in the UK is a heated steering wheel. I had one in the F type and it made winter driving top down really pleasant
