The S4 is out of winter hibernation and the CTEK charger is unplugged, having done its job perfectly over the past months. All worked well on a Saturday morning drive other than the instruments fogging up on the inside - hopefully warmer weather will deal with that - unless someone has a special fix that I don't know about?
I had to fill the car up for the first time and am not very confident that the fuel gauge is reading very accurately - is this common? When putting fuel in I was able to trickle quite a bit more fuel in after the flow clicked off due to the level in the tank - is there any technique to filling these cars right up that I should be aware of?
Looking forward to some longer journeys when more than half a day of top-down motoring weather finally appears!
Happy driving all...
Beard

I had huge problems fuelling my Aero +8. Seasons and staff rotas would change whilst I was trying to fill it. The fuel gauge was also all over the place - from full to empty reading out whilst sat at traffic lights. Pretty hopeless for a brand new and costly car.

So I bit the bullet and had the Morgan factory come up with a solution - which they did. It was new piping and venting - not a cheap fix. However it's been transformative - it's now like filling a normal car... full on trigger (if you dare) is possible. The fuel gauge is more accurate as a result.

Many thanks Neilda - I can see that for the meantime I'm going to have to calculate my mpg and keep a close eye on my odometer!

Yes, it's what I still do... zero the odometer at every fill and start looking for petrol at 200 miles. A good safety net even for my new and improved filler.
