Does the standard (out of the box) screen mount for a new Tom Tom work satisfactorily?
The upright windscreen angle of a Morgan may give rise to awkward sight angles on the device when fitted. Am I over thinking this?

Or is there a preferred or better solution? I have CX model car.
Search on the forum has several posts for special fabricated designs.
Help and advice would be appreciated
TIA

The standard Tom Tom works well in any Mog. We just purchased a phone mount from halfords that goes over the dash and adgustable to take a Tom Tom if you like for under a tenner and rock solid. I think we make things more complicated than what they really are on here sometimes. Em

We have a Garmin and the standard screen mount worked perfectly on my Plus 4 and Roadster and now on my Plus Four. As has already been said this isn't complicated. Are TomToms very different?

Thanks all for your advice and input. Looks like I’m good to go with standard set up and see how I get on.
Currently using iPhone with Mous magnetic with suction pad which is adequate at best esp if specific and complex routes are desired.
It’s my intention to plot routes on pc/mac and load onto device.
Thanks again.
